SHATTUCK — Extending a state and national winning streak carries with it the pressure of not wanting to be the team that has the streak snapped. But, in Shattuck’s case, it’s somewhat appropriate that the 2009 team would shoulder the burden.

High school football fans were spoiled during the regular season as Cox Communications and KSBI-52, Thunder TV, combined to show 36 games. With the arrival of the playoffs — and even greater importance for the games — the coverage has evaporated.
