\CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery declined 5 cents at $5.46 a bushel; May corn lost 5.80 cents at $3.2840 a bushel; May oats was off 1.80 cents at $2.7320 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 2.80 cents at 8.5360 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle gained 4.18 cents at $.9250 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose 4.16 cents at $1.1908 a pound; Apr. lean hogs fell 2.40 cents at .4388 a pound.
