Achievers: OKC teacher recognized as an Elite 100 IXL Learning educator

IXL Learning, the K-12 personalized learning program, recently announced its seventh annual Elite 100 list. The Elite 100 recognized top teachers out of 700,000 educators from around the world who have demonstrated commitment to helping their students learn.

One of the teachers recognized was Leia Wheeler from North Ridge Elementary School in Oklahoma City. Wheeler uses IXL in various ways to reinforce concepts, identify areas for reteaching and personalize instruction for her students. She has been able to engage students, close achievement gaps and create confident learners in the process during an unprecedented moment in education, according to a news release.
