Oklahoma City Museum of Art's 37th annual Omelette Party goes virtual

The 37th Annual Omelette Party benefiting the Oklahoma City Museum of Art will look a little different this year.

While the in-person party has been canceled, the fan-favorite art raffle will feature over 50 local artists viewable both online and in-person at the museum. Raffle tickets can be bought online Saturday through March 19.

“Omelette Party is one of the major ways the museum highlights our wonderful community of local artists,” said Kimberley Worrell, museum development director. “We knew that this year’s event had to include the art raffle in order to showcase the talented artists in OKC. While we are not able to gather to celebrate this year, the spirit of the event lives on in the art raffle.”

The art raffle will be on view in the Museum Cafe space to allow for social distancing. Hours for in-person viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and March 18; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 19.

Museum admission is not required to visit the art raffle, but masks are required throughout the museum.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online. Costs are $5 for one, $20 for five and $100 for 30 tickets. All raffle tickets will be submitted virtually via the art raffle website. The link to the raffle website will be posted to the museum’s website and Facebook page at 10 a.m. Saturday. Winners will be announced on March 20 via email.
