Thunder recalls Ty Jerome from G League bubble

Ty Jerome might soon make his Thunder debut.

The Thunder announced Thursday night that it's recalling Jerome from the G League bubble. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds in nine games with the Oklahoma City Blue.

The Thunder acquired Jerome from the Suns last November as part of the Chris Paul trade. Phoenix selected the former Virginia guard with the 24th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Jerome averaged 3.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 31 games in his rookie season with the Suns.

Jerome suffered a left ankle sprain at the beginning of training camp, and he's yet to suit up for the Thunder.

If available, Jerome could help fill in for the injured Hamidou Diallo
