Week Ahead: Momentum show, “Burst of Energy”, nature photography, Kierston White and Adam Carolla


NORMAN — The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition’s annual Momentum show kicks off at 10 a.m. Wednesday at MAINSITE Contemporary Art, 122 E Main St. The show features diverse artwork by Oklahoma artists ages 30 and younger, with some works available for purchase. The Oklahoma City Philharmonic’s Saturday Classics concert “Burst of Energy” is available to view via digital stream beginning at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Radio and podcast personality Adam Carolla hosts live tapings of “The Adam Carolla Show” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Bricktown Comedy Club, 409 E California Ave. The tapings are followed by “Adam Carolla Is Unprepared,” an off-the-cuff, unscripted comedy performance by Carolla at 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Oklahoma City Photography Group hosts a beginners’ guide to nature photography course at 12 p.m. Saturday at Martin Park Nature Center, 5000 W Memorial Rd. The three-hour class is appropriate for complete beginners or those who want to brush up on the basics.
