Compared to the last sale (02/09/21): Slaughter cows mostly $1-$4 higher on a light test. Slaughter bulls had too few receipts for an adequate market test. Packer demand good to very good. A total of 181 cows and bulls sold with 49 percent going to packers. Supply included: 53% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 23% Slaughter Cattle (98% Cows, 2% Bulls); 24% Replacement Cattle (88% Bred Cows, 13% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs. was 0%.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,650 lbs. Average dressing Boners and Breakers $62-$69.50; Lean Cows $58-$60.50; High dressing $66-$74.50; Low dressing $49, Very Low Dressing $34. 625-1,000 lbs. Light weight cows Average dressing and High dressing not tested; Low dressing $40-$41; Very Low dressing $26.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,750-2,075 lbs. Average dressing $84; High dressing $95; Low dressing not tested.

Replacement Cows: Pretested for pregnancy and age. Medium and Large No. 2: 2-4 year old 825-1,050 lb. cows 1st trimester $700-$1,025/head; 5-8 year old 775-1,525 lb. cows 1st thru 3rd trimesters $625-$1,125/head.

Bred Heifers: Pretested for pregnancy and age. Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: Not tested.

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 5-8 year old 1,425 lb. cows with 150-300 lb. calves $1,000/pair; 5-8 year old 1,450 lb. cows with >300 lb. calves $1,410/pair.
