OU basketball: Sooners' game vs. Texas postponed due to winter weather
NORMAN — The winter storm that's moved across Oklahoma and Texas kept pushing the matchup between No. 9 OU and No. 12 Texas back.
Now, the game has been postponed indefinitely, the Big 12 announced Wednesday. No makeup date has been set.
The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, then pushed back to Wednesday and then to Thursday, as the Longhorns have not been able to travel from Austin.
The Sooners are scheduled to play at Iowa State at 5 p.m. Saturday (ESPN2).
OU defeated the Cyclones 79-72 on Feb. 6.
The Sooners have won seven of their last eight.
OU's game against Baylor, originally scheduled for Feb. 10, has yet to be rescheduled. Baylor hasn't played since Feb. 2 due to COVID-19 protocols.
