Three things to know
• OU senior guard Alondes Williams is expected to return after missing the past three games due to COVID-19 protocols. The Milwaukee native has started all 14 games he’s played in and is averaging 7.7 points and 3.4 rebounds.
• OU won the season’s first matchup in early January, building an 18-point lead and holding off a rally from the Mountaineers. North Texas transfer Umoja Gibson scored 29 points, making eight 3-pointers. It was the first of three wins over top-10-ranked opponents last month.
• West Virginia is entering on a roll, having won five straight Big 12 games for the first time in its conference history. The Mountaineers are also in a stretch of playing four straight opponents ranked in The Associated Press Top 25. A win would be a third straight against ranked teams, a first for West Virginia since December 1957 in its first year of varsity play. Jerry West was a sophomore on the team.
