OKC Thunder: Aleksej Pokusevski placed in concussion protocol
Thunder forward Aleksej Pokusevski sustained a concussion in practice Sunday, the team announced. Pokusevski has been placed in the NBA's concussion protocol.
"It was just in a live portion of the practice for him," Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said. "He just fell on somebody's knee and got hit pretty good. Donnie (Strack) was able to rule it as a concussion and he's in the protocol.
"He's doing well. He's in good spirits. Saw him right after it happened. We'll just take him through the steps."
Pokusevski will have to exhibit symptom-free behavior before resuming basketball activities, per the NBA's concussion policy.
