About the broadcasters
The ESPN crew of Dave O’Brien (play-by-play) and Tim Hasselbeck (analyst) and Katie George (sideline) have the call. O’Brien is a veteran of more than 30 years in the broadcast booth who primarily calls games on the ACC Network. He’s also the primary play-by-play announcer for the Boston Red Sox on NESN. A former NFL quarterback, Hasselbeck joined ESPN in 2008 as an NFL studio analyst. In 2019, he joined the ACC Network as an analyst. George is a former volleyball star at Louisville, where she was the 2015 ACC Player, Setter and Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She joined the ACC Network in 2019 after working at WDRB in Louisville and spending one season as the Milwaukee Bucks’ sideline reporter.
