Many of us are paying more attention to skin and body care these days, thanks to socializing less and staying home more.
It’s a good thing, too, because winter has never really been a friend to skin. Dry, indoor air, low humidity, harsh winds and hot soaks in the tub can contribute to parched, itchy and sometimes flaky skin. Dermatologists say preparing the skin for products that soothe and replenish moisture is the first step. Start by gently exfoliating and sloughing away dead skin cells, then follow with a favorite body cream or lotion.
