Three things to know

• Both teams are coming off tightly contested games. OSU let a fourth-quarter lead slip away in a 76-72 loss to Alabama, while SMU fell 74-70 in overtime to Texas State.

• Against Alabama, OSU had one of its better shooting games until going cold in the fourth quarter. The Cowgirls hit 46.4 percent of their field goals, despite making just five of their final 18 shots.

• OSU had a season-high 18 assists against Alabama, led by Ja’Mee Asberry with seven, matching a career high.
