Vote in The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll
As the football season winds down, there continues to be no shortage of stellar performances each week.
The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top performances from players across the state is now live. Fans can vote before it closes at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Results of the poll will appear in Wednesday’s edition of The Oklahoman.
Here are the candidates for the Fans' Choice Player of the Week:
Ben Harris, QB, Carl Albert: The senior did a bit of everything, rushing for 199 yards on 14 carries and completing 16-of-28 passes for 188 yards and a score in a 45-28 win against Collinsville.
Landon Lagasse, WR, Cashion: He had three touchdown receptions in the first half of Cashion's 41-22 victory against Woodland in the Class A quarterfinals. The junior finished with six catches for 146 yards.
Cole Limber, WR, McGuinness: Limber’s huge performance helped McGuinness rally to top McAlester 28-21. He had eight catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 19 seconds left.
Grant Lohr, RB, Jenks: The senior helped carry the Trojans to their 17th title in school history. He had 33 carries for 154 yards and a touchdown in a 41-14 win against Edmond Santa Fe in the Class 6A-I state title game.
Collin Matteson, WR/DB, Oklahoma Christian School: The standout junior had another big performance in a 24-20 road win at Eufaula. He had two interceptions and seven tackles on defense while catching seven passes for 142 yards on offense and had another 52 all-purpose yards.
Emitt Wilk, QB, Washington: Wilk was stout in Washington’s 49-22 win at Adair. He completed 5-of-8 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 14 times for 156 yards and a pair of scores.
