Three things to know
• This is the fifth straight year OSU has been part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, with the Cowgirls going 1-3. All three losses have been to teams ranked in the top 15 at the time.
• OSU’s Lauren Fields, a sophomore guard from Shawnee, has scored a career high in points in each of the Cowgirls’ two games this season. She opened with 14 against ORU and followed it up with 15 against Southern.
• This is only the second meeting between OSU and Alabama. The Cowgirls won the previous meeting, 58-54, in the Nassau Sunsplash Shootout in December of 2000.
