• Junior-college transfer Brittany Reeves opened her Cowgirl career with a bang, scoring 11 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in 19 1/2 minutes of play in Sunday’s 73-54 win over ORU. The 6-foot-5 forward was 4-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-3 from 3-point range.

• The Cowgirls piled up 58 rebounds against ORU on Sunday, with six players grabbing at least five boards.

• As the middle section of its five-game homestand to open the season, OSU is set to play three times in six days, with Alabama coming to GIA on Saturday, and SMU visiting on Monday.
