Report: Danilo Gallinari signs with Atlanta Hawks

Danilo Gallinari's Thunder stint is expectedly coming to an end.

The 6-foot-10 forward will sign a three-year, $61.5 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday. Wojnarowski noted that it's the richest multi-year deal for a player over 30 who's never been an All-Star.

Gallinari, 32, averaged 18.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season for the Thunder. He was the team's best 3-point shooter at 40.5%.

Gallinari rebuilt his value by staying healthy the last two seasons. He averaged 29.6 minutes in 62 games with the Thunder.

The Italian forward arrived in Oklahoma City as part of the Paul George trade with the Los Angeles Clippers. Gallinari played last season on the final year of his contract, remaining with the Thunder even after he was rumored to the Heat at the trade deadline

The Thunder has now lost three of its top-four scorers from last season, with Gallinari to the Hawks, Chris Paul to the Suns and Dennis Schroder to the Lakers. The three of them combined to average 55.2 points per game.
