Food Network star, New York Times best-selling author and Pawhuska-based entrepreneur Ree Drummond releases today her new book of essays titled "Frontier Follies: Adventures in Marriage and Motherhood in the Middle of Nowhere" via William Morrow/HarperCollins.
Fans of the Oklahoma Hall of Famer's recipes are sure to savor her tales of adventure on a working cattle ranch in Oklahoma and her experiences with childbirth, wildlife, isolation, teenagers, in-laws and a 25-year marriage to a cowboy and rancher. She even gives readers a glimpse into her Oklahoma quarantine life in the new book.
Since she is not able to do a traditional book tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Drummond is planning a virtual book tour stop at The Lodge, a Pawhuska locale where she films her Food Network show "The Pioneer Woman."
The virtual book tour event is at 7 tonight, but tickets will allow buyers to view the event on-demand for 14 days after. For information and tickets, click here.
