If you don't know who the Pumpkin King is, do you even really Halloween, man? Jack Skellington made his debut in 1993's "A Nightmare Before Christmas," which is now considered essential viewing to properly celebrate Halloween and Christmas.
Popular for pets and toddlers alike, the oh-so-classic pumpkin came in strong as the fourth most-searched Halloween costume in the OKC area on Google for 2020.
You see them at every Halloween party, the hippie costume is a safe and easy go-to for Halloween pageantry. It's inoffensive, easy recognizable and can be pieced together for little money. No wonder it's so popular!
Despite taking a slamming by critics in 1993, Disney's "Hocus Pocus" has since become a cult classic that gets quoted by youngsters and 30-somethings alike. It's not surprising, then, that the lead witch, Winnifred Sanderson, is a popular costume search.
It surprises me to see this as the No. 1 costume search for the OKC area, but Naruto is an insanely successful and popular manga series that's spawned 72 volumes to date. Not to mention, Naruto also is a popular anime, having lasted multiple seasons on the Cartoon Network.
