Vote in The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for Week 4

The first week of district play came with numerous big performances across the city.

The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top games by OKC-area players in Week 4 is now live. Fans can vote before it closes at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Results of the poll will appear in Thursday’s edition of The Oklahoman.

Here are the candidates for the city-area Fans' Choice Player of the Week:

Gavin Freeman, WR/DB, Heritage Hall: The junior was everywhere for the Chargers on Friday night. He caught four passes for 183 yards and took one 95 yards for a touchdown. He also blocked a field goal and recovered it. Freeman capped his play with two 30 yards punt returns and one 20 yard kick return. 

Lincoln Smith, WR/DB, Blanchard: Smith was stellar in a 46-33 win against John Marshall. He caught six passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns and also collected an interception on defense. 

Makale Smith, WR/DB, Midwest City: The Oklahoma State commit caught two passes and scores both times in the Bombers' 34-9 home win against Lawton. Smith, a senior, finished with 78 receiving yards. 

Luke Tarman, QB, McGuinness: The senior had 23 carries for 313 yards and six touchdowns while completing 13-of-23 passes for 183 yards and a score in a 56-34 win at Lawton Eisenhower.

Gabe Trevillison, RB, Norman North: He led the TImberwolves' prolific rushing attack in their 42-14 win at Mustang. The senior had 17 carries for 140 yards and three touchdowns. 

Steele Wasel, QB, Choctaw: The sophomore led the Yellowjackets to their first win over Tulsa Washington in school history. He threw 12-17 for 182 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran 17 times for 76 yards.
