OSU basketball: Cowboys hold 'press conference' to answer questions about NCAA start date
STILLWATER — College basketball is coming in late November.
That means Oklahoma State’s schedule, which was set to begin at Gallagher-Iba Arena against Green Bay on Nov. 10, will change.
Just don’t ask coach Mike Boynton for any answers on what that means for OSU.
The Cowboys coach held a “press conference” Wednesday afternoon in a moment of true comedy. The media in attendance? Just his players.

And they brought the right questions.
When will the season begin? What about social distancing in the arena? Who will be the first opponent? What about proposed bubbles?
“I really don’t have an answer for that one,” Boynton often said.
Kalib Boone shot photography throughout the interview room.
And it was abruptly ended when Canadian freshman Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe asked about a bubble in Canada.
“It seems to be working for the NHL,” Moncrieffe said.
Boynton just walked out shaking his head.
