Watch: New 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 trailer debuts with first looks at new worlds and characters
"Wherever I go, he goes," the title character (Pedro Pascal) declares in the Season 2 trailer of "The Mandalorian," which just dropped this morning.
The new clip features plenty of looks at our hero and the still-too-adorable-for-words Baby Yoda (who looks to be growing stronger in the comedic timing), plus the return of their pals Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers).
Even better, we get our first glimpse - an all-so-fleeting but still pretty thrilling glimpse - at a shadowy figure who could possibly be one of two heroines from the animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars": Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano or Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze. (Or, it could also be Sabine Wren from the animated "Star Wars" series "Rebels." It's hard to say for sure but fun to speculate at this point. But it looks pretty certain to be another incredible female character for the series, which is great news.)
We also check out some strange new worlds and their various denizens, plus what looks to be a return to a familiar place: the ice planet Hoth from "The Empire Strikes Back."
The new trailer is less than two minutes long, but there's a lot of awesomeness packed in there for fans of "The Mandalorian." and "Star Wars" in general.
"The Mandalorian" Season 2 debuts Oct. 30 on Disney+.
