OSU basketball: Ole Miss transfer Bryce Williams granted NCAA waiver

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State transfer guard Bryce Williams will not have to sit out this season.

Williams was granted a transfer waiver from the NCAA, the Cowboys announced Friday afternoon.

A 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior who transferred from Ole Miss this offseason, Williams shot 44% from 3-point range in 29 games last season. He played 13.3 minutes per game and averaged 3.1 points.

He also played for current OSU assistant Erik Pastrana at Daytona State, where he averaged 14.9 points per game.

As a sophomore at Daytona State, he averaged 14.5 points and 4.4 assists while shooting 45.9%. That season, he scored 20 or more points seven times and had a career-high 35 points against College of Central Florida.
