OU football: Three Sooners on Senior Bowl watch list

Cornerback Tre Brown, running back Rhamondre Stevenson and defensive lineman LaRon Stokes are on the Reese’s Senior Bowl Top 250 watch list, it was announced Thursday.

Brown’s biggest moment for the Sooners was a fourth-quarter sack for a safety against Texas in the 2018 Big 12 Championship Game.

Stevenson is coming off a 515-yard, six-touchdown junior season where he averaged 8.0 yards per carry, tops in the nation for any player with at least 50 carries.

Stokes was the 2019 Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year last season.

Since the Senior Bowl’s inception in 1950, 115 Sooners have played in the game, played annually in Mobile, Alabama.
