LEADERSHIP OKC ALUMNI
Event: 25 alumni of Leadership Oklahoma City met Aug. 11 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. They had a private tour of Prix De West art exhibit. Sculptor Paul Moore gave an art demonstration and spoke about his Centennial Land Run monument art installation, which is located in the south end of Bricktown.
About the group: Alumni members are former participants in LOKC leadership programs. Terri Cooper is incoming LOKC Alumni Association president and she presented outgoing president Lee Symcox a sculpture of a white eagle for his service.
About the event: Sue Ann Hyde and Sally Bentley were in charge of arrangements. There was a box dinner prepared by The Petroleum Club. Bandanas and sunflowers were table centerpieces.
FAMILY BIRTHDAYS
Occasion: Three generations of relatives met in the home of Sharon and Chris Bullard on Aug. 9 to celebrate family birthdays, which were in July and August. Honorees included Chris Bullard, 68, and his grandsons, Colin Green, 3, and Ben Williams, 4.
The menu: Guests enjoyed a brunch-themed meal, followed by lemon poppyseed cake and and an ice cream pie.
