Farrell's transfer was first reported by GoPokes.com.
OSU has had more than a dozen players enter the transfer portal since the start of the 2019 season.
A 6-foot-6, 313-pound redshirt sophomore, Farrell was a three-star recruit. He was on The Oklahoman’s All-State team following the 2017 season.
He then redshirted his first season at OSU. Last season, he played against Oregon State and McNeese State.
