OKC Thunder: Dennis Schroder returns to bubble
Thunder point guard Dennis Schroder has returned to the NBA bubble after leaving the Disney complex for the birth of his second child, a team spokesman confirmed to The Oklahoman on Tuesday.
Schroder will likely have to quarantine for four days before rejoining the team. It's not clear when his quarantine began.
Schroder has missed five of the Thunder's first six seeding games. While the timeline for his return is uncertain, Schroder is likely to be available when the playoffs begin next week.
Schroder was recently named one of three finalists for Sixth Man of the Year. The 26-year-old guard is averaging 18.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game.
