These Catherines, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant and Justice stores closing in Oklahoma
All Catherines women’s stores in Oklahoma along with an Ann Taylor store, two Lane Bryants and seven girl’s clothing Justice locations have started liquidation sales after the recent protection bankruptcy filing by parent company Ascena Retail Group.
The company has some 2.800 stores across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Ascena Retail Group had previously announced the closing of all Catherines store, and recently included a significant number of Justice stores and a select number of Ann Taylor LOFT, Lane Bryant and Lou & Grey stores. Fifteen stores will be closed in Oklahoma. There are no Lou & Grey stores in the state.
Deep discounts and desirable merchandise could translate to a short sale across all stores, said Aaron Miller, executive vice president of 360 Capital Partners which is consulting on the liquidation.
Store closures in Oklahoma include:
Justice -- Central Mall in Lawton; Shops at Moore in Moore; Arrowhead Mall in Muskogee; Sooner Mall in Norman, Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City; Smith Farm Marketplace in Owasso; and Tulsa Hills Shopping Center, Tulsa.
Lane Bryant -- Lawton Marketplace, Lawton, and Quail Springs Mall.
Ann Taylor – Penn Square Mall, Oklahoma City.
Catherines – Midwest City Town Center Plaza; Riverwalk Centre in Moore; French Market Shopping Center in Oklahoma City; and Sheridan Plaza and Woodland Annex in Tulsa.
