Be Kind message being spread on tees and hats
Being kind should be one of the easiest things to do. We can choose to do it. But maybe, just occasionally, a reminder is needed for us all, especially when times are challenging. When health issues become political issues. When normal is not normal.
The Be Kind Company has launched a new collection to do just that with the “Be Kind 2020” message emblazoned on T-shirts and hats, pins and bumper stickers. The Election Collection is meant to encourage everyone regardless of political persuasion, to treat one another with kindness. Prices range from $3 to $29.
“I hope this collection can be a reminder that regardless of how different we may be, or think, or vote, we can still always choose to be kind,” said Taryn Hartwell-Lewis, founder of The Be Kind Company.
She started the company in July 2019 with the launch of “Be Kind” T-shirts in matching mommy and me styles. Her classic collection, with prices up to $60, also includes an oversize canvas tote with the phrase “be kind to yourself” imprinted on both sides. Hartwell-Lewis also writes a blog detailing her recovery from anorexia with self-care and acceptance habits that may be helpful to others.
