Tulsa softball head coach Crissy Strimple announced the team has added former Oklahoma All-American pitcher Paige Parker to their coaching staff.

Parker won two national championships in her time at Oklahoma. In 2016, she won Most Outstanding Player in the Women’s College World Series, and was a finalist for the 2018 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.

In the Oklahoma record books, Parker ranks second in win percentage, wins, appearances, strikeouts and shutouts.

She spent 2019 as a volunteer assistant coach for the Sooners, who went 20-4 before the season ended due to COVID-19.

The Golden Hurricanes were 13-11 before their season was cut short.
