OKC Thunder: Andre Roberson practices again, but return uncertain

Andre Roberson published a tweet Friday night that sent Thunder fans into a frenzy.

"Blessings from above man!" Roberson wrote. "Always count them! Never take the smallest things for granted! Let alone anything!"

Nowhere did Roberson indicate he would take the floor Aug. 1 against the Jazz, but that didn't stop fans from reading as much into the words.

Roberson has been a full participant in the Thunder's first two practices at Disney World, according to coach Billy Donovan, but Roberson was also practicing in late October before the Thunder's season opener. He was ruled a game-time decision that night in Utah.

Roberson didn't play against the Jazz, and he hasn't played since rupturing his left patellar tendon Jan. 27, 2018 — almost 30 months ago.

Donovan was asked Saturday if Roberson will play, and not just practice, when the season resumes.

"I think we'll have to see," Donovan said. "I'm encouraged with what he's done here the first two days, but I think we go back to the beginning of training camp, he started off and obviously had some setbacks ... He's really worked hard to try to get himself in a position to play."
