OU football: Caleb Williams' decision looms large for Sooners on Saturday
OU’s 2021 recruiting class figures to have some fireworks Saturday night.
Caleb Williams, the No. 1 quarterback in the class according to Rivals, will announce his decision at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports HQ, a streaming sports network.
Williams, whose other finalists are LSU and Maryland, is widely expected to commit to the Sooners.
A Williams commitment could start a string of pledges to the Sooners. Four-star wide receiver Jalil Farooq, like Williams a Washington, D.C., area product, has expressed a desire to play alongside Williams in college.

Latrell McCutchin, a four-star cornerback from Austin, Texas, could also be close to pulling the trigger on a commitment to the Sooners. McCutchin had been committed to Alabama for about nine months, before decommitting in March following a visit to Norman.
