Oklahoma Football Coaches Association to host All-State game on July 25 at Oklahoma Baptist University

The Oklahoma Football Coaches Association will host the All-State game at 7 p.m. on July 25 at Oklahoma Baptist University's Crain Family Stadium in Shawnee.

OFCA executive director and Norman North coach Justin Jones confirmed the plan to The Oklahoman on Wednesday.

He said Skordle will stream the game, and there will not be restrictions on how many fans can attend.

“We’re hoping to get those tickets put on sale in the next couple of weeks,” Jones said.

The Oklahoma Coaches Association planned to host the annual game on the same date in the Tulsa area before it was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The OCA’s All-State rosters, which were set in January, will be used in the game. Coaches from each team will select replacements for those who decide they won't play.

Players and coaches will closely follow health safety protocols, and OBU will decide what precautions will be in place for fans, Jones said.
