Former Tulsa Kelley standout Madison Tokarchik named 2019-20 Gatorade Oklahoma Girls Soccer Player of the Year

Former Tulsa Kelley standout Madison Tokarchik was announced Wednesday as the 2019-20 Gatorade Oklahoma Girls Soccer Player of the Year. 

The 5-foot-5 midfielder is the third girls soccer player from Tulsa Kelley to win the award, which recognizes athletic and academic accomplishments and exemplary character. 

Tokarchik, a Tulsa signee, had three goals and five assists this spring before the coronavirus pandemic canceled the season. Tokarchik finished her high school career with 34 goals and 47 assists. 

The United Soccer Coaches All-American and three-time Tulsa World All-World selection had a weighted grade-point average of 4.27. She has volunteered for a food bank, Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma and youth soccer camps.

Tokarchik is now a finalist for Gatorade‚Äôs National Girls Soccer Player of the Year award. The winner will be announced this month.
