Gallery of Homes returns to Rivendell in Oklahoma City
The Gallery of Homes at Rivendell is set for June 27 to July 12, with new homes open from 1 to 8 p.m. daily.
One one of Rivendell’s streets will feature several new homes, each displaying innovative home designs, products and amenities. Featured homebuilders include Canterra Signature Homes, Craig Smith Homes, Huffman Custom Homes, Stonewall Homes and Tatum Custom Homes. Each home is between 3,600 and 4,000 square feet. Finished homes will be fully furnished by local interior designers.
“Rivendell has won the best neighborhood in Oklahoma City nine times and I know attendees of our event will be amazed by all the new features and innovations these homes have to offer,” developer P.B. Odom III said. “Our wonderful sponsors have underwritten our event cost so 100% of our ticket sales will go directly to our nonprofit partners.”
Gallery sponsors include ABC Supply Co. Inc., Acme Brick, BancFirst, Bryan’s Flooring, Builders First Source, Expressions Home Gallery, First American Title Co., Glazing Concepts, Lennox, Metro Appliances & More, Metheny Concrete Products Inc., Mill Creek Lumber & Supply, Pacific Shore Stones, Pella Windows & Doors of Oklahoma, and Wet Lawn Sprinklers & Landscape.
All proceeds will go to two local nonprofit organizations, The Sparrow Project and Moore Faith Medical Clinic.
The Sparrow Project promotes happy and fulfilled lives for adults with intellectual disabilities and spreads the message that everyone has worth and deserves the opportunity to have a meaningful life. It fulfills its mission through two programs, Sparrow University and NEST.
Sparrow University offers biweekly arts & crafts, music classes, sports, cooking lessons and volunteer opportunities for those adults with intellectual disabilities at little to no charge. NEST hosts monthly social events, including sporting events, theater outings, picnics and dances.
Moore Faith Medical Clinic was started in 2015 after its founders recognized a need to help the uninsured and underserved in Moore. The clinic’s mission is to share the love of Christ in a holistic and tangible way through faith-based free medical care. It focuses on loving and serving the community while recognizing the dignity of each human life.
Over the past five years, the clinic has seen more than 5,000 patients, provided $4 million in free prescription medications, and provided more than $6 million worth of care for those in the community.
