EDMOND — The Parade of Homes Spring Festival continues Saturday and Sunday with nearly 100 new homes open free to the public from 1 to 7 p.m.

Details and maps to the houses are at https://www.paradeofhomesok.com/.

New houses will be open across the Oklahoma City area, but the featured community is Cross Timbers, a development with three neighborhoods — the Ridge, the Lakes and Creekside — on the south side of Covell Road between Sooner and Coltrane roads in Edmond.

Parade builders in Cross Timbers are Authentic Custom Homes, Shawn Forth Custom Homes, Alder Fine Homes, Ripple Creek Custom Homes and Bill Roberts Custom Homes.

Cross Timbers has walking trails, a resort-style pool and cabana, fitness center and clubhouse.

The Ridge at Cross Timbers has homes starting at 2,000 square feet.

It's "the perfect neighborhood for those who want spacious, comfortable semi-custom and custom homes," the developers say at www.crosstimbers.life/. "Lots in this beautiful neighborhood come with several square footage options, and they start in the upper $300s. Are you looking for a vibrant but peaceful environment to make your home? Are you ready to tailor your living experience to your exact wants and needs? Then come join your neighbors at The Ridge."

The Lakes at Cross Timbers has homes starting at 1,500 square feet.

"These distinguished, spacious homes start in the low $400s. Lots are 75 feet by 95 feet. ... The homes at The Lakes are exclusively designed and built by Bill Roberts Custom Homes, a leader in luxury living. This company will work closely with you to make sure that you get everything you want from your custom home. ... Furthermore, these homes are maintenance-free. Luxury homes require a lot of upkeep, but you won’t have to worry about it," the developers say.

Creekside at Cross Timbers has homes starting in the low $300s.

"Creekside lots are 55 feet by 110 feet and 120 feet. ... Maintenance-free living means that you can simply enjoy your home. Your HOA team will include maintenance in your annual dues, so you won’t have to worry about it," the developers say.

People touring the parade homes should be ready for restrictions related to the coronavirus, said Rusty Appleton, executive director of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association.

"Builders have been given guidance on sanitation and maximum crowd size based upon information provided by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce," Appleton said. "Restrictions may lessen as we go. Masks are not required, but are encouraged. Having said that, some builders may have more stringent requirements than others, so the public should be prepared to meet those requirements."

Corporate sponsors of the Parade of Homes Spring Festival are Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. and Wilshire Cabinet + Co.

Other sponsors are SWM & Sons Homes, Choctaw; Brookfield Custom Homes, Norman; McCaleb Homes, Edmond; Landmark Fine Homes, Norman; Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co.; OnCue; and Cross Timbers.
