Mark Wilson, of Oklahoma City, was selected as a contestant for the game show "The Price Is Right."

The game show featuring Wilson can be viewed at 10 a.m. May 21 on CBS.

"My parents enjoyed 'The Price is Right' from the very beginning," Wilson said. "Once they were able to retire, they never missed a show. We always knew they were watching the daily broadcast and we were not to interrupt unless it was an emergency.

"Through the years, it has been my favorite game show, as well, and I have always dreamed about going to a live taping. Our son and his family recently moved to the Los Angeles area. On our most recent visit, they surprised me with tickets to the show."

Wilson has been an electrician for 43 years and graduated from U.S. Grant High School. He has been married 39 years and has two children and two grandsons.
