OSU baseball: Stillwater's Drew Blake commits to Cowboys

Oklahoma State baseball nabbed a commitment from a 2021 class hometown athlete.

Stillwater’s Drew Blake announced his commitment to the Cowboys on Tuesday morning, via Twitter.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ve committed to play baseball at Oklahoma State University,” Blacke wrote. “Thank you to all of my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me throughout this whole process.”

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound left-handed pitcher posted wins against Broken Arrow (4-2) and Jenks (3-4) before the coronavirus pandemic cut his junior season short. He recorded 22 strikeouts in 12 innings in his only two outings.

In a video posted to Twitter last week, Blake showcased his velocity topping out at 93 mph. He captioned the tweet as a new personal record.
