High school football: Cache's Ralph Fawaz commits to Wyoming

Ralph Fawaz has always had the dream of playing at a Division I school.

On Saturday, the Cache kicker came one step closer as he announced his commitment to Wyoming via Twitter.

“Thank you God for this opportunity,” Fawaz wrote. “It has always been a dream to play at a D1 school. Recruiting has been a very tough process with many ups and downs, I learned to keep pushing and continue to work hard no matter what. Never give up on your dreams.”

The senior also thanked his friends, family and coaches for supporting him.

Fawaz, who served as Cache’s kicker and punter this season, helped lead the Bulldogs to an 8-4 record and to the Quarterfinal round of the Class 4A state tournament.
