Ben Richmond, Westmoore boys tennis: Richmond was one of the top contenders to claim the No. 1 singles title in Class 6A before the season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Richmond placed fourth at state as a junior. With defending champion and former Stillwater star Mert Arabaci moving away from Oklahoma and other elite players from 2019 graduating from high school, Richmond expected to have a better outcome during his senior year. Richmond was confident and playing his best tennis this season, which was likely the last of his career. “As of now, he’s not planning on playing in college, but he’s definitely good enough,” Westmoore coach Randy Painton said.
