NFL Draft: Lincoln Riley getting a lot of questions about Lee Morris
NORMAN — Five Sooners have gotten a lot of attention ahead of this year’s NFL Draft — Neville Gallimore, Jalen Hurts, CeeDee Lamb, Parnell Motley and Kenneth Murray — but there’s one more name that OU coach Lincoln Riley has heard a lot.
Lee Morris.
On a conference call Wednesday, Riley said Morris is one of the players he gets asked about a lot.
“He’s honestly been one of the players I’ve been asked about the most,” Riley said. “Just because he obviously was such a valuable player here — made a lot of explosive plays, big plays. And then on top of it he was a tremendous special teams player.”
Morris made 41 receptions for 848 yards and 11 touchdowns in his Sooner career.
“Certainly had a lot of calls about him” Riley said. “I think there was quite a bit of interest to see how he was so productive and versatile for us.”
