Okarche's Rachel McDowell named 3 Rivers Conference POY

Okarche star Rachel McDowell earned recognition for her phenomenal season.

The senior was named the 3 Rivers Conference Player of the Year by conference coaches. The honor was announced along with the 2019-20 Girls All-Conference Team Friday morning.

McDowell averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, leading Okarche (27-4) to the semifinal round of the 2020 Class A state tournament.
