EDMOND — The Edmond City Council has amended its declaration of emergency to build upon previous community measures combating the spread of COVID-19 in Edmond.

The previous declaration of emergency of March 30 remains in effect with the following changes:

• All closures and regulations are extended to April 30 to mirror Gov. Kevin Stitt’s safer-at-home executive order.

• Expansion of the closure of public playgrounds to include all playgrounds within Edmond city limits.
