Canceled: OKC Audubon speaker to discuss birds of Malaysia and the island of Borneo

(Editor's note: The OKC Audubon Society has canceled its March 16 meeting amid coronavirus concerns, as well as the unavailability of the planned speaker.)

The guest speaker for this month's OKC Audubon Society meeting will discuss birds and natural phenomena observed during a recent trip to Malaysia and the island of Borneo.

The meeting featuring Doug Wood, professor of biological sciences at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at the Will Rogers Park nature center building, on the southwest corner of NW 36 at I-44.

Anyone interested in birding, nature study, or conservation/preservation of natural resources is invited to attend.
