Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls not well tested due to last week's very light test, but a much higher undertone was noted. Demand good. A total of 252 cows and bulls sold with 70 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,050-1,750 lbs. Average dressing Breaker, Boners and Lean cows $58-$66; High dressing $67-$74.50; Low dressing $43.50-$57.50; Very Low dressing $31-$41. 875-1,000 lbs. Light Weight Cows Average dressing not tested; High dressing $65; Low dressing $43-$55; Very Low dressing $27-$38.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,525-2,300 lbs. Average dressing $86-$94; High Dressing $96-$102; Low dressing $72-$84. The estimated dressed cost at the Oklahoma National Stockyards: Lean cows 124.80; Boners 126.45; Breakers 121.90; Light weight cows 111.00; Bulls 157.80.

Replacement Cows: Pre-tested for pregnancy, and age. Medium and Large No. 1: 2-4 year old 1,215 lb. cows bred third trimester $1,275/head; 5-8 year old 1,375-1,475 lb. cows bred second trimester $1,225-$1,300/head: Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 2-4 year old 900 lb. cows bred second trimester $930/head; 5-8 year old cows bred second trimester $735-$920/head.

Bred Heifers: Not tested.

Pairs: Pre-tested for pregnancy, and age. Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 5-8 year old 1,200 lb. open cows with 150-300 lb. calf $1,225/pair.
