Two dead in southwest OKC blaze

Two people are dead after a fire erupted Wednesday in a recreational vehicle in southwest Oklahoma City, authorities said.

Just after 5 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 1000 block of SW 25 on a report of a vehicle fire in the front yard of a residence.

Arriving firefighters found “heavy fire” in a small recreational vehicle, authorities said.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and searched the vehicle. They discovered one adult male dead and one adult female dead.

The recreational vehicle was destroyed. The cause of the fire is undetermined and remains under investigation.
