OSU softball: Carrie Eberle named Big 12 Co-Pitcher of the Week

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State pitcher Carrie Eberle was named the Big 12 Co-Pitcher of the Week for her 17 innings of work at the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational over the weekend.

In four appearances, the senior graduate transfer earned two wins and two saves, allowing two runs (both unearned) on nine hits. OSU went 4-1 for the weekend, upsetting No. 14 Minnesota and No. 9 Alabama.

For the season, Eberle is now 3-1 with a 0.75 earned-run average and 24 strikeouts in 28 innings.

She’s the second OSU pitcher to be recognized by the Big 12 through just two weeks of action. Last week, OSU freshman Kelly Maxwell earned the same honor after pitching a perfect game in her collegiate debut.
