Today's featured event:

Hear Cincinnati indie rock band Motherfolk at 8 tonight at Ponyboy, 423 NW 23.

The band has been the focus of increasing attention with every release and tour since 2014. The group's 2016 release "Fold" earned notable industry and tastemaker praise, and the energetic live shows that followed created a loyal fan base. On the road, they’ve supported such acts as Brandi Carlile, Magic Giant, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Lydia, Blues Traveler, and The Classic Crime.

In the studio, Motherfolk has been fortunate to collaborate with top-notch producers, from Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy) to Tony Hoffer (Beck, Chromeo, M83, Foster The People). With their newest release, "Family Ghost," which dropped in October, the band reached a new level of energy, musicianship and songwriting, according to the press materials.

Doors open at 7 tonight, and Rousey will open the show. The concert is for ages 21 and older.
