Top Rank Boxing: Alex Saucedo to face Sonny Fredrickson on April 25 in Las Vegas
The next stop on Alex Saucedo's road to a world title bout will come in Las Vegas.
The Oklahoma City boxer will fight Sonny Fredrickson in a 10-round super lightweight bout on April 25 at Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Saucedo (29-1, 19 knockouts) last fought Nov. 2, knocking out Rod Salka in Carson, Calif.
Fredrickson (21-2, 14 KOs) is coming off a loss Nov. 14 to Samuel Teah for the USBA Super Light title.
The main event of the Top Rank card features WBA/IBF bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue and WBO title holder Johnriel Casimero in a unification bout.
ESPN2 will broadcast the preliminary bouts starting at 6 p.m. with ESPN+ taking over at 8 p.m.
