Getting married? Check out these wedding gown trends
December is considered the most popular time to get engaged.
So, for all the newly engaged planning to walk down the aisle this year, wedding gown designer Madeline Gardner for Morilee shares what she thinks are the biggest trends.
“Our message is clear: I design many types of gowns to compliment the varied types of brides, themes and diversified trends. I get inspired when I think that every gown and each bride has a story,” she said.
Gardner, by the way, is the designer who on “Access Hollywood,” sketched Meghan Markle’s wedding gown and second gown directly from the TV coverage and had them into production and on Morilee’s website within 10 days of the Royal Wedding.
This year’s trends to check out:
- Plunging backs and plunging V-necklines.
- Whimsical skirts
- Ball gowns.
- Dramatic trains that tell a story.
- Statement making veils.
- Romantic, dreamy, detachable puff sleeves.
- Sexy, lingerie bodices.
